# About the Business Email APIs

The Business Email APIs let you work with the Google Workspace products a Wix account purchases for its domains, such as Business Email. Use them to check what an account can purchase before checkout, set up a new Google Workspace after purchase, and read information about the Google Workspace on a domain the account owns.

The Business Email APIs include:

- [**Google Subscriptions**](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/account-level/premium/business-email/google-subscription-v1.md): Check whether an account can purchase Business Email, Google Workspace, or the Google Voice add-on for a domain, and how many seats it can purchase. Also retrieve the users on a domain and how much storage a Google Workspace has used.
- [**Google Users**](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/account-level/premium/business-email/google-user-v1.md): Set up the first administrator of a Google Workspace after it's purchased, and retrieve the Google Workspace's users.

## Before you begin

It's important to note the following points before starting to code:

- These are account-level APIs. Call them with an account-level API key, on behalf of the account that owns the domains.
- The methods work only with Google Workspaces on domains the calling account owns.

## Terminology

- **Google Workspace**: Google's suite of business apps, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar, set up on a domain.
  - **Business Email**: Wix's Google Workspace product. It gives a domain professional email addresses, such as `jane@my-domain.com`.
- **Seat**: A licensed user account in a Google Workspace subscription.
- **Administrator**: A user who manages the Google Workspace, such as its users and settings.
