The Pool Definition Items API allows you to manage which catalog items are assigned to the benefits of a pool definition, a template that defines what subscribers get under a Pricing Plan. A new About App Review Decline Reasons article explains the most common reasons apps are declined during Wix App Market review. It summarizes the technical, UX, and marketing requirements your app is checked against, and groups typical decline reasons by category. Use it to identify and fix issues before you submit, or quickly address problems if your app is declined and you receive a review notice.

The existing `trackEvent()` method from the `@wix/site package` can now be used in Wix‑managed headless projects. You can call `trackEvent()` from your headless site to send standard and custom analytics events to the Wix analytics infrastructure, and have them forwarded to connected external platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), Facebook Pixel, and Google Tag Manager.

New feature: Headless Analytics Events `trackEvent` support

A new Contributor Created account-level event is available under the Account Level User Management APIs. This event is triggered whenever a new contributor is added to a Wix account.

Existing apps using custom authentication continue to be supported, but we recommend migrating to OAuth, which replaces custom authentication.

OAuth is simpler to implement and more reliable because it:
- Doesn't require server setup for redirects.
- Doesn't require a database for refresh token management.
- Avoids issues with cloned sites bypassing consent flows.

Deprecated feature: Custom authentication for apps

The new account-level webhooks enable you to receive webhook notifications for operations that span your entire Wix account, not just a single site.

You can now:

- Subscribe to account-wide events (for example, site creation, folder changes, team member updates) from the Webhooks page in your Wix Studio workspace.
- Use webhook logs (last 30 days) to track deliveries, responses, and troubleshoot issues.
- Receive events from child accounts created under your parent account, and distinguish them using accountId and targetAccountId fields in the payload.

This feature is intended for Wix Enterprise and Wix Channels partners.

- `bookingLineItems.choices`: Replaced by `bookingLineItems.serviceChoices.choices`.
- `bookingLineItems.numberOfParticipants`: Replaced by `bookingLineItems.serviceChoices.numberOfParticipants`.
- `bookingLineItems.pricePerParticipant`: Replaced by `bookingLineItems.serviceChoices.pricePerParticipant`.

The `serviceChoices` field allows you to specify multiple [service variants](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/business-solutions/bookings/services/service-options-and-variants/introduction) with different participant counts and choices in a single request.

A new method, Remove Contributor, is now available in the User Management Contributors API. This method enables you to remove an existing contributor from a specific site. Use this method to revoke a contributor’s role and access on that site while keeping their contributor status for other sites or at the account level unchanged.

You can now edit a headless project created the Wix CLI using the Wix Vibe UI. This lets you choose your preferred interface at any point, without maintaining separate project setups. The `wix connect` command links an existing headless CLI project to Vibe so both interfaces work against the same project.

We've added a new article that explains how you can use custom code to extend Wix sites with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS snippets. The article covers common use cases like integrating 3rd-party services, adding custom styling, running client-side JavaScript, and enhancing SEO with structured data. The Marketing Emails Sending Domains API lets you authenticate custom domains for sending emails 
lets you authenticate sending domains for marketing emails. This allows emails to use a custom domain in the From field, improving email deliverability, helping establish domain reputation, and helping email providers trust emails sent from a site.
The accompanying Email Domain Setup Flow article provides an end-to-end example that shows how to set up email sending from a custom domain on a Wix site, covering the complete process from email verification through domain authentication.

The [Question Entries and Categories API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/business-management/faq-app/faq-v1/question-entries-and-categories/create-question) will be deprecated on December 31, 2026 and replaced with the FAQ App [Category V2](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/business-management/faq-app/category-v2/introduction) and [Question Entry V2](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/business-management/faq-app/question-entry-v2/introduction) APIs.

Some updated events now include a `modifiedFields` object. This object contains the values of fields that changed, as they were before the update. Use `modifiedFields` to compare old and new values or to track what changed.
