Connection Object

A connection represents a configured authentication provider, such as Google, Facebook, or password-based login, that users can sign in with on a Wix site. Every site is automatically provisioned with built-in connections for Google, Facebook, and password login, in addition to any connections you create.

Connections have a two-phase lifecycle: create and configure a connection, then enable it to make it available for sign-in.

Properties
appDefIdstringformat GUID

ID of the Wix app that defines this connection. Each connection is backed by an app; this field identifies which one.

configMap <string, Value>format map

Provider-specific configuration for this connection, as key-value pairs defined by the connection's app (its SPI implementation). Populated in Get Connection and List Connections responses. May contain sensitive values, so the field is treated as PII. For client-safe data without configuration, call List Enabled Connections Client Data.

createdDatestringRead-onlyformat date-time

Date and time the connection was created.

displayNamestringmaxLength 32

Display name for the connection, shown to users as a sign-in option.

idstringRead-onlyformat GUID

Connection ID.

revisionstringRead-onlyformat int64

Revision number, which increments by 1 each time the connection is updated. To prevent conflicting changes, the current revision must be passed when updating the connection. Ignored when creating a connection.

updatedDatestringRead-onlyformat date-time

Date and time the connection was updated.
