This API is subject to change. Bug fixes and new features will be released based on developer feedback throughout the preview period.
Commits a draft subscription contract and applies its changes to the subscription contract.
The changes apply from the next billing cycle onward. The current billing cycle isn't affected.
After the commit, the draft subscription contract's status is COMMITTED and you can't edit it.
You can then create another draft subscription contract for the same subscription contract.
Before committing, the subscription contract is checked again to confirm it can still be edited, and the totals are recalculated. The commit fails if the recalculation returns an error.
The commit updates the subscription contract and triggers the Subscription Contract Committed event,
which holds every change that was applied, and the Subscription Contract Updated event.
Additional fees with source set to AUTOMATIC and applied set to true are added to the subscription contract.
Discounts and additional fees with applied set to false are removed from the subscription contract.
To retrieve the updated subscription contract, call Get Subscription Contract.
By default, the buyer gets a notification that the subscription was updated.
To skip it, set settings.sendNotificationsToBuyer to false.
You can commit only a draft subscription contract that you created.
