About Verified Apps

Verified is a badge that recognizes apps with a proven track record in the Wix App Market. It's granted automatically based on your app's performance.

Verified is the first of the App Market's two recognition tiers, marking apps that meet Wix's baseline for quality and reliability. The second tier, Wix Choice, is a hand-picked selection of apps recognized for outstanding user experience.

Benefits

Verified apps have the following advantages:

A trust signal in the App Market: The badge appears next to your app in search results and on your listing page, so Wix users can see at a glance that your app clears Wix's quality bar.
A boost in discovery: Verified apps can surface more prominently than apps without the badge. Visibility still depends on other factors, such as your listing quality, search relevance, and your ratings and reviews.
A step toward Wix Choice: Earning Verified puts your app on the path toward Wix Choice, the market's top recognition tier.

How your app earns the badge

On a regular basis, Wix reviews apps that meet every requirement. If your app passes, Wix grants the badge and lets you know. You don't apply, and there's no need to resubmit.

Important: The same requirements apply to every published app, regardless of the time it has been in the Wix App Market.

Wix re-evaluates Verified apps on an ongoing basis. It can remove the badge at any point if your app slips below a threshold, and restore it once your app meets the requirements again.

Requirements

To be Verified, your app must:

Comply with the App Market guidelines.
Have a clear, user-friendly workflow that works as intended. See the App Market guidelines.
Be live in the Wix App Market for 60 or more days.
Have 40 or more live installs on Premium Wix sites. This is a live snapshot of current installs, not a cumulative count of every install your app has ever had.

Note: Wix calculates the install and time-in-market numbers from its own marketplace data, so they can differ from the analytics in your app's dashboard.

Apps that have been live for a year or more

For apps live for 365 days or more, Wix may also review longer-term performance, such as whether installs and active usage have stayed healthy compared to the rest of the market. This review doesn't change the published thresholds.

Verified vs. Wix Choice

Verified and Wix Choice are separate tiers with different goals:

Verified: Confirms that an app is trustworthy and reliable.
Wix Choice: Highlights apps that go further on user experience and value.

Every Wix Choice app is expected to clear the Verified requirements, but clearing them doesn't guarantee Wix Choice. The Wix team selects those apps at its discretion.
