# About Dashboard Pages

A [dashboard page](https://dev.wix.com/docs/overview/extensions-framework/dashboard-extensions/dashboard-pages.md) is a full-page destination in the Wix dashboard. This reference is the contract for a page you add as an extension: the generated files, the configuration object, and the React component that renders when the page is active.

The file set and configuration object are the same whether you add the page in a Studio Two site project or in a Wix CLI app.

To send a Wix user from one dashboard page to another, call [`navigate()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/dashboard/navigate.md) from the Dashboard SDK. The destination is always a dashboard page. You can also call `navigate()` from other dashboard surfaces, such as plugins and menu plugins.
