About Dashboard Plugins

A dashboard plugin adds your own UI to a dashboard page built by Wix, such as a banner above the product table on the Wix Stores Products page. This reference is the contract for a plugin you add as an extension: the generated files, the configuration object, and the React component that renders on the page.

The file set and configuration object are the same whether you add the plugin in a Studio Two site project or in a Wix CLI app.
