# About the Site Settings APIs

The Site Settings APIs give you a Wix site's language, regional format, theme, and name, and your component's text in the page's language. Use them so a component looks and reads like the rest of the site it's added to.

The Site Settings category includes the following APIs:

- [Locale API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/site-sdk/site-settings/locale/introduction.md): Gives you the site's main language, text direction, regional format, and time zone, so you can format dates, times, and numbers the way the site does.
- [Translations API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/site-sdk/site-settings/translations/introduction.md): Gives you your component's text, such as button labels and messages, in the language the page is shown in. To format dates and numbers to match, use the Locale API.
- [Site Theme API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/site-sdk/site-settings/site-theme/introduction.md): Gives you the colors and fonts of the site's theme.
- [Site Info API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/site-sdk/site-settings/site-info/introduction.md): Gives you the site's display name, revision number, and ID.
