A site page is a full page that an app adds to a Wix site. The page is a series of sections, and each section holds one of the app's site widgets. This reference lists the settings that define a site page.
A site page has no generated files or code. You configure it in the app dashboard, whether you build the app with the Wix CLI, as a self-managed app, or in Wix Blocks. The app must already have at least one site widget. For the steps, see Add a Site Page Extension.
Sites and headless projects don't use site pages. A site adds pages in the editor, and a headless project defines its own routes.
The following table lists the settings you configure for a site page:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Page name | The name that appears in the site's Pages panel. |
| Page ID | The ID that code uses to refer to the page. When the app is installed, the page ID is also the page's default URL slug, which the Wix user can change. |
| Duplication | Whether Wix users can duplicate the page. |
| Site menu | Whether Wix adds the page to the site's menu automatically when the app is installed. This setting applies only to regular menus on Wix Editor sites. |
| Widgets | The app's site widgets that make up the page. Each widget gets its own section, in the order you set. If a widget is essential to the app's functionality, deleting the page from a site deletes the whole app. |
