# About the Legacy Wix CLI for Apps

The Legacy Wix CLI for Apps is the old CLI for Wix app development. It no longer receives updates or new features and isn't recommended for new projects.

For new projects, use the unified [Wix CLI](https://dev.wix.com/docs/wix-cli/guides/about-the-wix-cli.md), which is the current CLI for building Wix apps and Wix-managed Headless projects.
