The Domain Transfer In API is no longer in Developer Preview. This means it isn't subject to breaking changes and can be used in production.

You can now see who left each comment on a site and who wrote each reply. Specify `COMMENTER` in `fields` on any method that returns a comment to get the reviewer's name and email in `commenter`. Each reply now carries a `replier` that says whether the reviewer who left the comment wrote it or a Wix user did, with the Wix user's ID and account ID.

New feature: Commenter and replier details in the Feedback Comments API

You can now declare the slots that can host a site plugin by listing a placement slot ID for each slot in the `placementsSlotIds` array of the plugin's configuration. Every supported Wix app page now lists the placement slot ID for each of its slots. The legacy `placements` format isn't deprecated and existing plugins keep working, but we recommend migrating to `placementsSlotIds`.

You can now connect an Astro 7 project to Wix as a Wix-managed headless project. The [`headless link`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/wix-cli/command-reference/project-creation/create-headless-link) command now accepts Astro 5 and Astro 7 projects. Astro 6 isn't supported.

The Identity Connection V1 API now includes a [List Enabled Connections Client Data](https://dev.wix.com/docs/api-reference/wix-backoffice/identity/connection-v1/list-enabled-connections-client-data) method. Use it to retrieve the connections currently enabled for signing in to a site, returning only client-safe fields and excluding sensitive backend configuration. The response includes the site's built-in connections in addition to any connections you create.

The Wix WebMCP lets AI agents running in a site visitor's browser work with a Wix site through structured tools instead of reading the page and clicking through it. Site builders add the Wix WebMCP app, and visitor agents can then search, answer questions about the business, add items to the cart, and open checkout.

The Blog Settings API lets you manage the label of a site's all-posts feed and the settings that control comments. You can translate the feed label into the site's secondary languages, turn comments on or off, allow comments from visitors who aren't signed in, and require a rating with each comment.

When you upload a static site to a Wix-managed headless project, the upload now accepts video, audio, PDF, CSV, YAML, GeoJSON, 3D model, and pass-through image files, alongside the markup, style, script, image, font, and data files it already supported. The per-file size limit is now 20 MB, up from 3 MB.

The Remittance Invoices API lets you retrieve the daily records of how much of a merchant's sales goes towards repaying a Wix Capital cash advance. Each invoice covers a single sales day and splits the amount into the portion applied to the advanced amount and the portion applied to the fee. Wix issues remittance invoices automatically as part of the cash advance repayment cycle, so the API only retrieves them.

The Pricing Plans Settings API lets you read and update the site-level settings that govern how a site sells pricing plans. A site has a single Pricing Plans settings object, and it applies to every plan on the site.

With the API you can:

- Choose whether tax for a plan purchase follows the buyer's billing address or the site's business address.
- Allow site visitors to buy a plan without signing in as a site member.
- Automatically create and send an invoice each time an online payment for a plan succeeds.

The Plan Benefits API tells you which pricing plans a customer can purchase to get access to a specific item, such as a class or a session, and which benefit in each plan grants that access. The API returns only the pricing variants the customer can actually buy, along with what the item costs in the plan's credits.

You can now navigate a Wix user between dashboard scopes by specifying a `scope` in [`navigate()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/dashboard/navigate). A scope is either a specific site or the Wix user's account, so a scope switch can move them from a site to their account, from their account into a site, or directly between 2 sites.

- Add a `pageId` and a `relativeUrl` to deep-link into the target scope, or omit them to land on that scope's default page.
- Pass context across the switch with the new `scopeQueryParams` option.

Checkout plugins can now match the merchant's checkout theme. The checkout passes the resolved design for the section your slot renders in as a new `slotBrand` property. It carries properties such as background, text, button, and selection colors. It's always defined, falls back to sensible defaults when the merchant hasn't customized their checkout, and its text colors are pre-resolved for contrast against their backgrounds.

The Tag Suggestions and Page Optimization APIs generate AI-powered SEO suggestions for a page of a Wix site. Both return suggestions for review, so you can show a Wix user what would change and apply only what they accept.

To clear a property, include it in `fields` and omit it from `businessRegion`.

You can now build a custom panel for an Editor React Component using the new [React Elements API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/react-elements/introduction). A custom panel adds a new action-bar button alongside the auto panels, so a Wix user gets both, and gives you full control over panel layout, controls, and logic an auto panel can't provide.

The React Elements API lets you build custom panels for Editor React Components, giving you full control over panel layout and behavior instead of relying on the editor's auto-generated panels. Marketplace providers can now manage their standing in the Wix Marketplace and retrieve their marketplace projects programmatically. Use the Provider State API to read a provider's marketplace status and pause or resume their availability to receive new leads. You can now migrate a WordPress site to Wix Headless using an AI agent and the [Wix migration skill](https://github.com/wix/skills/blob/main/skills/wix-replatform/SKILL.md). The skill discovers your content, maps it to Wix equivalents, and imports your products, orders, blog posts, customers, and media into a new Wix project.

- Migrate WordPress products, orders, coupons, and customers into Wix Stores, eCommerce, Members, and CRM.
- Import blog posts, standalone pages, and media into Wix Blog, CMS, and Media Manager.
- Scaffold a Wix-managed site as part of the migration.
- Review the content mapping and approve an execution plan before any data is imported.

The [Editor SDK](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/introduction) now includes the Page and Pages APIs. Use them to read information about pages your app manages through [site page extensions](https://dev.wix.com/docs/build-apps/develop-your-app/extensions/site-extensions/site-pages/about-site-page-extensions). With the Page and Pages APIs, you can:

- Use the [Page API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/page/introduction) to read information about the page your extension is bound to, including [`getTitle()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/page/get-title), [`getExtensionId()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/page/get-extension-id), [`getPageRole()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/page/get-page-role), and [`getRouter()`](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/page/get-router).
- Use the [Pages API](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/pages/introduction) to [list your app's pages](https://dev.wix.com/docs/sdk/host-modules/editor/pages/list), including each page's stable ID.

These APIs are available only for apps with site page extensions. They aren't available from a site widget or plugin's settings panel.

The Join Applications API manages the complete workflow for online program participation, from initial application or invitation through approval and payment processing to final enrollment. It supports both member-initiated applications where users request to join programs, and owner-initiated invitations where program owners invite specific members to participate.

Use it to build an HTML preview of a campaign before publishing. With `preview()`, you can:

- Pass placeholder values to resolve dynamic content in the preview.
- Set `removeMissingPlaceholders` to remove unresolved placeholders from the preview HTML.
- Retrieve the resolved email subject along with the preview HTML.

The Steps API manages the individual content units inside an online program section. A step can represent article content, video content, or a quiz.

A redirect sends a visitor who requests one path on a site to another path or URL. Sites use redirects to keep old links working after a page is renamed or removed, to consolidate duplicate URLs, and to point a whole section of a site somewhere else.

The Wix site dashboard (Business Manager) for all Wix editors has been redesigned with the Harmony theme. Because dashboard apps run inside an iframe, they don't automatically inherit the new look. The new [Business Manager redesign migration guide](https://www.wix-pages.com/design-system-documentation/#/page/guidelines/businessmanagerredesign) provides the steps required to update your app. It complements the [Harmony theme UX guidelines](https://www.wix-pages.com/design-system-documentation/#/page/guidelines/harmonytheme), which cover design changes only. To migrate your app, you can:

- Update `@wix/design-system` and `@wix/wix-ui-icons-common` to the latest versions.
- Load the Harmony theme tokens and wrap your app with the icon and default props providers.
- Import icons from the `@wix/wix-ui-icons-common/lazy` entry point so they render in the new icon set.
- Apply manual component adjustments and replace hardcoded styles with `--wds-*` design tokens.

App Tools is a new extension type that lets your app expose custom tools to the [Aria AI Assistant](https://dev.wix.com/docs/overview/ai-the-wix-platform/about-aria). When a Wix user chat with Aria in the site dashboard, Aria can discover and call your tools to retrieve data, run workflows, complete actions, and call 3rd-party APIs and services on behalf of the Wix user. Any functionality your app can perform can be exposed as a tool.
