Creates a loyalty account for a site contact.
To create a new loyalty account, a customer must first be a site contact with a contact ID, see the Contacts API. The site must also have an active loyalty program before loyalty accounts can be created.
This method may require higher-level permissions than the caller has, based on their identity and roles and permissions. In these cases, you can ensure the method is called with the required level of authorization by using one of the following:
