About Cross-Promoting Your Apps

You can promote your other Wix apps within your app, as long as the content follows specific guidelines. This article explains these guidelines and offers design examples to help you create compliant promotional content.

Guidelines

To ensure your app promotion complies with Wix policies:

• Don't promote or advertise anything other than your own Wix apps.
• Limit promotional content to the following approved locations:
  • Editor: Use a settings panel to feature a link to your apps.
  • Dashboard page: Create a section in the page to showcase your apps.
• Keep promotional content contained within its own area in the settings panel or dashboard page.
• Maintain a clean, simple design that is unobtrusive.
• Link only to the following approved destinations:
  • Your Wix App Market developer page.
  • Individual app listings on the Wix App Market.

Publish your promotion

Once your promotion is ready:

1. Release a new app version.
2. If your app isn't live in the Wix App Market, and you'd like to submit it, submit your first app version. After submission, your app is added to the review queue and published upon approval.
