About the Schedule Items API

The Schedule Items API allows you to share the lineup of an event’s activities, presentations, performances, or sessions. The created schedule will appear on a site's Event Details page. Guests can use schedule bookmarks to make a personalized schedule by saving their preferred choices.

With the Schedule Items API you can:

  • Add, delete, or update draft schedule items.
  • Adjust the time of all draft schedule items at once.
  • Publish or discard draft schedule.
  • Create and delete bookmarks.
  • List all bookmarks for the currently member.

Before you begin

It's important to note the following:

  • Each event has one published schedule and one draft schedule. All calls to add, update or delete schedule items affect the draft form, which can be published at any time with Publish Draft.

Terminology

  • Bookmark: Allows guests to mark specific schedule items they are interested in.
  • Event: A gathering organized by a Wix user for a group of people.
  • Schedule: A structured plan or timetable that outlines the sequence of activities, presentations, performances, or sessions scheduled to occur during an event.
  • Schedule item: A specific activity, presentation, performance, or session listed within the overall schedule of an event. Each schedule item represents a distinct component of the event's agenda and may include details such as the activity name, time slot, location, and any additional information relevant to the event's program.
