Member Report Overviews: Sample Flows

This article presents possible use cases and corresponding sample flows that you can support. It provides a useful starting point as you plan your implementation.

Show the most reported members

A site with an active community may receive many reports. Showing the members with the most reports first helps the Wix user focus on the members who most need attention.

To show the most reported members:

  1. Call Query Member Report Overviews, sorting by reportCount in DESC order and setting cursorPaging.limit to the number of members to show.
  2. For each returned overview, call Get Member with reportedMemberId as id to retrieve the member's name and profile details for display.
  3. When the Wix user selects a member, call Query Member Reports, filtering by reportedMemberId, to show the individual reports and their reasons.

Find members with new unreviewed reports

You may want to alert the Wix user about members who were reported since their reports were last reviewed, for example in a daily moderation digest.

To find members with new unreviewed reports:

  1. Call Query Member Report Overviews, filtering by reviewed equal to false and by lastReportDate later than the time of your last check. Sort by lastReportDate in DESC order.
  2. Save the current time to use as the starting point for your next check.
  3. Send the list of returned members to the Wix user, for example by email.
