About the Files API

The Files API allows you to manage files and generate file URLs from a site's Media Manager.

With the Files API, you can:

• Get, list, search, and query files.
• Import, update, and delete files.
• Restore files from the trash bin.
• Generate URLs for:
  • Downloading files.
  • Downloading a compressed file.
  • Uploading files.
  • Uploading files larger than 10MB.
  • Streaming video files.
